Privacy Notice for Mexico (Aviso de Privacidad)

Version 2. This is an English rendering of the Aviso de Privacidad required by the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and the applicable secondary regulation. It is provided for convenience only. The Spanish version governs in Mexico, and where the two differ, the Spanish text prevails. Read it at Aviso de privacidad.

Short notice

Victor Campos, trading as Altamira Commerce, with his address at Cipreses #22, Fracc. Cipreses de Mayorazgo, 72480 Puebla, Puebla, México, is responsible for the processing of your personal data. We process data from two origins: what you send us by email — your name, your email address, your store URL and the content of your message — which we use to reply to you, to quote the work and, if we work together, to carry out and invoice the engagement; and business contact details obtained from public sources, which we use to send you a first commercial introduction message. We collect no sensitive data and we set no cookies of our own. A single reply asking to be removed stops all further contact and your address is deleted. You can exercise your ARCO rights by writing to hello@altamiracommerce.com. This full notice is always available, free of charge, at this same address.

1. Identity and address of the data controller

Controller: Victor Campos, an individual (persona física), with his address at Cipreses #22, Fracc. Cipreses de Mayorazgo, 72480 Puebla, Puebla, México, which is a valid address for receiving notices relating to this notice.

Altamira Commerce is the trading name under which Victor Campos contracts for and delivers the services described on this site. The work is done in Mexico.

2. Personal data collected

We process personal data from two origins. The first is what you send us by email: this site has no forms, no account registration, and collects nothing by itself.

  • Identification data: your name, or the name you sign with.
  • Contact data: your email address and any other contact details you include.
  • Business data: the URL of your store or of a specific page, the platform you run on, and whatever you tell us about your operation.
  • Message content: the text you write and any attachment you send.
  • If we work together: the billing and payment details you give us so the work can be charged for.

The second origin is public sources — the store's own website and public business directories or listings — from which we obtain only commercial contact details:

  • the trading name of the business;
  • the contact email address the business publishes;
  • the store URL.

These are business-to-business contact details, published by the business itself. We buy no lists and we obtain data from no sources other than those stated.

3. Sensitive personal data

We do not collect or process sensitive personal data. We do not ask for health data, racial or ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference. We do not ask for financial or asset data beyond the billing details you provide, and we do not ask for store admin passwords: if you give us access, give it as a collaborator or staff invitation you can revoke.

4. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes, necessary to the relationship between you and us:

  • To read your message and reply to it.
  • To review the page or store you asked about and to quote the work.
  • To deliver the engagement and follow up on it.
  • To invoice and collect payment, and to keep the accounting, tax and legal records that apply.

Secondary purpose: to send a first commercial introduction message (prospección comercial) to a business contact address obtained from public sources, offering our services. This purpose is not necessary to any existing relationship between you and us. We build no profiles from your data.

How to stop it. Reply to that message, or write to hello@altamiracommerce.com, asking to be removed: we stop writing to you and delete your address. No explanation is needed, and it has no consequence for any service you have already engaged.

5. Transfers

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not transfer it to third parties for their own purposes.

The following third parties are involved, each on our behalf and only for what is stated:

  • the email provider that receives and stores messages sent to our address, Zoho Mail;
  • the site's hosting provider, Vercel, whose server logs record the technical details of each visit, including the IP address;
  • Google, for the font loading described in section 9, which receives your IP address directly from your browser.

Beyond that, we make no transfer without your consent, except in the cases the law itself provides for, such as compliance with a legal obligation or a request from a competent authority acting within its powers.

None of the above requires your additional consent, so this notice carries no transfer-acceptance clause. If we ever needed to transfer your data to a third party for a different purpose, we would ask you expressly before doing so.

6. How to exercise your ARCO rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to rectify it where it is inaccurate or incomplete, to cancel it where you consider it is not needed for any of the stated purposes, and to object to its processing for specific purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@altamiracommerce.com with the subject "Derechos ARCO" and include:

  • your name and an email address or postal address where we can send the answer;
  • a copy of official identification proving your identity or, where applicable, the document proving legal representation of the data subject;
  • a clear and precise description of the data the request concerns and of the right you wish to exercise;
  • anything that helps us locate your data, for example the email address you wrote to us from.

We answer by the same means, within the periods set by law, and tell you whether the request is granted and how it was carried out. The procedure is free of charge; we could only charge justified shipping costs or the cost of reproduction in copies or other formats, on the terms the law permits.

7. Withdrawing consent

You may withdraw at any time the consent you have given for the processing of your personal data. Write to hello@altamiracommerce.com with the subject "Revocación". We confirm the withdrawal by the same means, within the periods set by law.

Note that withdrawal may prevent us from continuing to handle your enquiry or to deliver a service you have engaged, and that in some cases the law requires us to retain certain data, such as billing records, for the applicable tax and accounting periods.

8. Options for limiting the use or disclosure of your data

In addition to the ARCO rights and to withdrawal, you may ask us at any time, by the same email, to stop using your address for any communication that is not strictly necessary, and we add you to our own exclusion list, which we check before any send.

You may also register with the Registro Público de Consumidores kept by the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO), to stop receiving advertising from providers generally.

9. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no web beacons or advertising pixels. It does count page views. For each page requested, the measurement records the address of the page, the address of the page that linked to it, the country the request came from, and the general type of browser and device, without setting a cookie and without building a profile of you. So that a repeat visit on the same day is not counted twice, it derives a temporary identifier from the request itself; that identifier is discarded at the end of the day and cannot be traced back to a person. The measurement runs first-party, served from altamiracommerce.com by our host, Vercel, acting on our behalf; no advertising network and no analytics company receives it. Any ordinary tracker-blocking extension or browser setting stops it, and the pages read the same either way.

The pages do load their typefaces from Google's servers, fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Your browser requests those files directly from Google, so Google receives your IP address and the ordinary information that accompanies a browser request. That exchange is between your browser and Google, it does not pass through us and we cannot see it; Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can disable it with a browser extension or setting that blocks third-party font loading, or by blocking those two domains; the pages remain readable in a fallback typeface.

If we ever add cookies or any other tracking technology beyond the page counting described above, we would update this notice and flag it visibly before putting them into operation.

10. Changes to this notice

Changes to this notice are published on this same page, at this same address. That is the means and the procedure by which we will communicate any modification, update or change arising from new legal requirements, from our own needs or from changes to the service. The version published on this page is always the current one.

11. Authority

If you consider that your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, or that the processing breaches the provisions of the law, you may approach the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority competent for the protection of personal data held by private parties in Mexico.
